The Town Museum has been systematically collecting precious materials about Bohuslav Martinů since the half of the 1950s. The extensive archive which contains handwriting scores, correspondence, family documents, music print, koncert programmes, photographs, scenic and costume sketches, is a paradise for researchers. Unique collections are available for experts as well as for public visitors in newly equpped scholastic room. Its part is also the general musicological library, sound recordings library and audiovisual tech with the posibility of listening to Bohuslava Martinů´s works.
